Can I send something to Bronco Driver Magazine?

Of course! Bronco Driver Magazine welcomes any and all reader submissions. It is you, the reader, that helps it get better every issue!

Although we cannot promise your submission will make it into the very next issue, almost everything sent to us will eventually be in the magazine in one form or another.

Bronco Driver Magazine can except many formats for submissions:

Text:

We are often asked how many words the story should be. We try not to answer that question because we feel the author should write as much or little as it takes to get his idea across.

• Text via email: We can except most software but prefer files saved as .txt (Dos Text or SimpleText) or Microsoft Word. We occasionally have difficulty pulling photos out of Word docs, so include another set of your photos not imbedded.

  Send them to: .

• Text via Snail mail: The same format information applies to text sent via email. We can accept floppies, Zips, and CD's in both Mac and PC format.
  We can also type in text sent as printouts, newsletters, etc. (the least preferred method).

Photos: (don't forget to include your name, city & state, your Bronco's year and color)

Digital photos are accepted but can be a problem. As a rule, the bigger the better. Although we may be able to use photos off websites they are usually too small. Magazines require photos that are much larger than the web.

Many of the newer digital cameras have great file sizes (assuming the camera was set to its highest settings).

• Photos via email: jpegs, tiff, eps, or most any large photo format. We have not had good luck with other formats such as gif or pdf.

  Multiple files (more than 3) should be sent via snail mail on CD not emailed.

• Photos via Snail mail: We have a scanner that can scan almost anything; prints (professionally made prints, not printouts from your computer), slides, negatives, etc. The best quality comes from slides first, negatives second and prints lastly. If you need the items returned, please include a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope.

  Cover Photos: to be considered for a cover, negatives or slides only. Don't forget, covers are vertical shots.

  We can also accept photos on disk. We can take a floppy, CD, or Zip in both Mac or Windows format.
