Located next to the Highlands Motel in Townsend Tennessee

14 Acres with Stage – Pavilion – Power – Campfire  – Shade and More.

The Talley Ho Inn has been sold and the new owners have a permit to build a RV park on the property. So there is a new larger facility  – less than a mile down the road from the Talley Ho ready to accommodate the Old Broncos and continue the ‘throwback’ for years to come.

A gathering of only old Broncos (1966-1996) in the picturesque setting that worked so well for decades – The Hills of Townsend Tennessee.  The quick and convenience of the comfortable surroundings make everyone feel like family. A place where the gatherings, conversations, and fellowship can go late into the evening. No wonder everyone grew to love Townsend, this setting, and the camaraderie that only 100’s of like minded, horse driving, ford fanatics can have in one place.

Big Swap Meet for Old Bronco Parts.

PART SALES ON SHOW FIELD  -Your welcome to sell products from your Bronco space. If you need more space you will need to move to swap meet area.  Bring your unwanted parts!

NO TRUCKS  OR OTHER VEHICLES WILL BE ALLOWED ON SHOW FIELD TO DROP OFF PARTS  –  YOU MUST HAVE ALL THE PARTS TO SELL TRANSPORTED IN YOUR BRONCO 

PARKING IN THE SHOW FIELD  – When parking your Bronco in the show field – please stay in marked rows. Pop Up tents  BACK TO BEHIND the BRONCO !  You can have space BEHIND your Bronco for a pop up.

Enter to have your Bronco on display Saturday from 4 P.M. – 7 P.M.  Recognition for all Generations of Broncos. Awards and prizes. Must be an event registered Bronco to sign up.

THURSDAY SEPT 25 –  MEET & GREET

 

Noon – Registration and gates open.

6-9  P.M. – Meet- N Greet – Campfire  

 

FRIDAY SEPT 26. –  FALL. FUN In The SMOKY MOUNTAINS   

 

9 A.M. Show Field Opens  – SWAP MEET AND VENDORS MIDWAY OPEN

 

9:30 :00 A.M. Dirt Drive: Parson’s Branch

The most talked about drive in the Smokies. This drive starts tranquil with the beginning in the Cade Cove loop. From there the drive enters an 8 mile dirt road with twists, water crossings, and some cobble rocks. It exits at Mile Marker 3 on ‘The Dragon’ where you will experience 300 winding turns to get to Foothills parkway. From there its the calm scenic drive back to the venue.(About 4 hours 50 miles round trip) 

 

12:00 Scenic Adventurous Drive  – Roaring Fork Nature Trail – Auto Tour

This is must for those who want to venture into nature …on blacktop. This drive cruises river road into Gatlinburg. From there it hits an isolated 8 mile one lane road through the old settlement. Old Cabins, rivers, waterfalls – a true hidden auto tour. You may have to hold your breath for some of the drops and overlooks.   (About 4 hours 50 miles round trip)

 

2 P.M. Destination Drive:  Lost City Of Elkmont 

A short drive to the Lost ruins of Element. Once the heartbeat of the rich to vacation in the plush resort. A few houses still remain along with one of the mess halls. Great photo opportunities. 

(About 2 hours 20 miles round trip) 

 

6-7 P.M. HOT DOGS Shindig  (Hot dogs and fix’ns provided)

 

7 P.M.  Bronco Sticker exchange  

 

6-9  P.M. Evening Bonfire 

 

SATURDAY – SEPT 27 – ROCKS N ROLLS IN THE FOOTHILLS  

 

9 A.M. Show Field Opens-SWAP MEET AND VENDORS MIDWAY OPEN

 

10:00 A.M. Dirt Drive: Rich Mountain Road 

This drive starts in the Cade Cove loop. From there the drive enters a narrow one way 10 mile gravel road that winds it’s way back into Townsend. Almost a guarantee to see great wild life and possibly Bears.  

(About 2 1/2  hours 25 miles round trip) 

 

12:00 DRIVE Scenic Adventurous  – Foothills Parkway – Top of the World

This drive starts with a peaceful drive down both segments of the Foothills parkway. It will take the only road off the parkway to the settlement around the lake at the top of the world. From there it takes the roller coaster drive into the valley and back to the venue. 

(About 3 hours 50 miles round trip)

 

4-7  P.M.  BATTLE OF THE BRONCOS  (Entry $10) 

Enter to have your Bronco on display Saturday from 4 P.M. – 7 P.M.  Recognition for all Generations of Broncos. Awards and prizes. Must be an event registered Bronco to sign up.

 

6-7  P.M. BBQ DINNER

 

7 P.M. Awards & Raffle
